Improvise In the United States, we have items available for all our needs. Many ofthese items are cheap to replace when damaged. Our easy come, easy go, easy-to-replace culture makes it unnecessary for us to improvise. This inexperience in improvisation can be an enemy in a survival situation. Learn to improvise.

| Customer Reviews: Fine reading for those interested in Survival crafts. July 25, 2009 Dennis C. Rahn (USA) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I always enjoy books on survival crafts. You never know when something you have read comes to mind when you may need the information. Highly recommend reading this guide.
Not Suitable for Kindle July 24, 2010 Derby Waters 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just like the other reviewers, I find this Kindle version nearly impossible to use because it is difficult to navigate from one area to another. All Kindle books should be made to allow you to access any page you want at any time. That means there must be a clear and present way to "GO TO" without having to proceed page by page.
Great content - not suitable kindle implementation February 2, 2010 Henrik Schmidt (USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a very comprehensive guide to survival - and surely full of important content.. however reading it on the kindle is a pain as it has not been well adapted - do a better job in the future... this looks like a badly scanned PDF on the kindle
Sucks for the Kindle August 16, 2009 Dorothy spirko 7 out of 11 found this review helpful
I though having this pub on my kindle would be great. However the table of contents is not functional so you have to page through it one page at a time. The pub is one of the best you can own but this version is not worth a damn on your kindle. I would gladly pay a full price for a kindle compliant version.
