This book has twice proven its worth during fishing trips to several regions of Montana. Whether fly fishing or bait-casting, this book has the best info on access, conditions, lures and seasonal peaks. The regions are clearly delineated with simple maps for major rivers, lakes and parks. Don't let the older publication date scare you off. This book will serve anglers of all skills and local knowledge well for years.

For lovers of the great outdoors - whether East or West coasts - this is an absolutely beautiful calendar. Whether you've been to Montana, or not, or her neighboring states, you will really enjoy the photographs, and annotations, that this calendar reveals month by month. I buy one every year! ENJOY!

Just went to Montana and used the book to select rivers to fish. It was very helpful in finding fish and providing suggestions on what to use.
